Visitors are queuing for METANOIA https://www.ninasumarac.com/metanoia at the opening of 16th Art Laguna Prize Biennale by Associazione Culturale MoCA, at Bacini dell'Arsenale Nord, Venezia, Italy

Our Ai Peace Mechanism Machine was very busy working her thing. The mission is in progress!

So thrilled to be part of such an amazingly organized and set up exhibition! Great selection of artworks. We had the luck to meet some of the artists and with some, we really related to and already planned future collaborations with. The journey to Venice was an injection of beauty and gratitude.

Great thanks to the supportive Ministry of Culture, Cyprus for funding the transport of the work and enabling my presence at the event in order to personally introduce my work.

Great thanks to the kindest and most hard-working organizing ALP team! Special thanks to Vittorio Mandelli for taking such care with the installation and manual montage of the machine and to Sara Tortato for her patience and support.

and Thanks to my VJ hubby to pull this off with me from brainstorming to financing the production, packing, installing, photographing, filming and most of all being the best best friend to me.

ARTE LAGUNA PRIZE

Since 2006, Arte Laguna Prize is the international art competition open to multiple disciplines – visual, performing, multimedia, landscape and digital arts – for the enhancement of contemporary art and the mapping of its current state. It was created to give the opportunity to art talents, more or less young, to emerge, to be noticed by the general public and by the jury composed of important names in the contemporary art scene, as well as to allow a democratic comparison between international artists .

The virtuous circle of Foundations, Museums, Galleries, Residences and Spaces for Art, Made in Italy Companies and International Brands, allows the realization of special projects and concrete opportunities for growth and momentum for the professional career of artists.

The Finalists will exhibit at the Arsenale of Venice
